GA Innovation China Disassembles First B737-700 Aircraft in China |
A Boeing B737-700 aircraftof Shenzhen Airlines (ZH) landed smoothly at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) on the early morning of July 10, after which maintenance crew towed the aircraft into Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation (AMECO)'s hanger, marking the first ever B737-700 aircraft to be disassembled in China. This aircraft is the only one of Shenzhen Air's 2015 disposal plan chosen to be disassembled. GA Innovation China (GAIC) got its disassemble right by public tender, and purchased the aircraft's enclosure and cabin parts. GA Innovation China entrusted AMECO to perform the disassemble work, and will return most of the disassembled parts to Shenzhen Air.
